Better Country, Better Future

“Science for the People” 

Today has change, yesterday was different, tomorrow is another day to develop for better future. As we look back to the Philippines before, the economy is poor, and the technology is not yet developed. Day by day, Philippines is striving to be scientific and technological advance like the other Asian country. So as what our current President Duterte did is to give reassurance of its faithfulness to the science, technology and innovation sector. President Duterte will provide and support the science department to aim the better infrastructure, abolish poverty, and be more attentive to the growing needs of people. Owing to this I agree with the current Science and Technology policies/thrusts/agenda of our government because they are giving their very best in advancing our country for the easier and convenient way of living. When President Duterte sign the executive order and adopting the 25-year long-term vision for the Philippines or “Ambisyon Natin 2040” on October 11, 2016, I can assure that after 25 years the Philippines will be in the list of middle-class country where people are living in extravagant life and no one is poor and will live in a high-trust society. Aligned with Ambisyon Natin 2040 has 3 pillars which are enhancing the social fabric, reducing inequality, and increasing potential growth and it will be possible within 25 years if the people and the government will help each other.

RA No. 1606 “AN ACT TO PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH, INVENTION AND DEVELOPMENT.” An act that has good and beneficial impact to the nation building in which many gifted Filipino students especially who take engineering and science related courses can grant scholarship and can able to work in their chosen field right after they graduated. The scholars & grantees will hone their skills of their chosen field for the better future of the country. The researchers will determine the needs and problems of the constituents and the other field will do their job as what they studied. Unity in diversity is the main goal to aim the advance and developed country.
